Karadeniz Ereğli Municipality Bus Terminal U-ETDS License Plate Recognition System and Paid Parking System

The U-ETDS-integrated license plate recognition system and paid parking system commissioned at Karadeniz Ereğli Municipality Bus Terminal were implemented to ensure that terminal entry and exit operations are managed in a more controlled, faster, and more organized manner. Within the scope of the project, the system was specifically designed for the site to control bus terminal vehicle movements through 1 entry point and 1 exit point.

With this solution, designed by AOS, the license plate information of vehicles entering and exiting the terminal area is automatically read, recorded, and digitally managed within the terminal’s operational processes. At the same time, thanks to the U-ETDS license plate recognition system infrastructure, vehicle movements entering the terminal can be monitored, vehicle access can be controlled, and operational processes can be carried out more efficiently.

Through the paid parking system established within the project, duration-based pricing for vehicles staying inside the terminal can be carried out, payment collection processes can be recorded, and a regular reporting infrastructure can be provided for terminal management. As a result, both bus terminal entry-exit control and paid parking management have been transformed into a modern structure that can be monitored from a single center.

This system implemented at Karadeniz Ereğli Municipality Bus Terminal is not only a license plate recognition system, but also an integrated solution that provides bus terminal automation, U-ETDS integration, terminal access control, paid parking management, reporting, vehicle movement tracking, and operational efficiency.
